01Background

Sound Walk around lcc - Back in April, we explored interesting sounds around lcc in hopes of making interesting sound visualizations.
We finally settled on the park surrounding the Imperial War Museum. In early spring, when everything is growing, we captured the sounds of spring winds, leaves flapping, puppies playing, and the laughter of the children's playground.
In this project, we wanted to re-picture them in a way that records the sounds and feelings.



02Data


The DATA we collect comes from sound data.

First we collected the audio data by recording the audio, and then we used au to view the information we wanted the audio to be.









03Sketch


Initially we created a hand-drawn version with more existing data, and we further drew the elements used in the hand-drawn version on the computer, hoping to create an interactive version with audible sounds.
